Dr. Maryan Mohamed Hussein, Minister of State for Health, officially launched the third phase of the Mida-Finsom project.
The Ministry of Health, the International Organization for Migration, and the Finnish government are all working together on this project.
This project seeks to improve healthcare delivery, particularly for mothers and babies, and the skills of healthcare workers in government hospitals. A medical team of highly qualified doctors from across the country and abroad will be assembled.
Representatives from the Federal Ministry of Health, regional governments, the UNFPA, WHO, and private hospitals attended the meeting. The Minister of State has promised to carry out this project efficiently.
